Pregnant/Breastfeeding: Please be advised both of our brands are safe and non-systemic, so are pregnancy safe.
Oncology: iS Clinical products are oncology-safe, but we recommend speaking to your GP prior to booking. Please make your therapist aware during your consultation so they can alter the treatment accordingly.
Exfoliants: Avoid harsh or extensive use of exfoliants 7 days prior to treatment.
Retinol: Stop the use of high level Vitamin A, Retinol and Vitamin A skin supplements 7 days prior to your appointment.
UV exposure: Avoid extensive exposure to UV rays and don’t use sunbeds within a week of your treatment.
Medications: If you have been using Roaccutane/Accutane, Minocycline or Doxycycline within 3 months of your desired booking date, please contact us for a brief phone consultation on before booking.
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT): If you’re currently having any type of Hormonal Replacement Therapy please contact us for a short phone consultation prior to your treatment. The treatments are 100% safe but it’s always advised to consult with your endocrinologist prior to resurfacing treatments or applications of Vitamin A.
Please let your therapist know if you’ve received any of the following within 4 weeks prior to your booking, as they may need to adapt your treatment accordingly:
Microblading & Semi-Permanent Make-Up Tattoos
Dental or Metal Implants
Botox, Fillers, Injectables: It’s advised we avoid excessive manipulation of the face and infusions of active ingredients within 2 weeks of any sort of dermal enhancement treatment.
Peels, Laser Resurfacing, Extreme Sunburn, Surgery: It’s necessary for your skin to be as uncompromised as possible at the time of your treatment appointment. It takes 30 days for a full internal and external cellular turnover, so please be aware of booking one of our advanced treatments within a month of having a medical grade treatment.
Treatment After Care
Avoid excess sweating, exercise and sun exposure within 4-6 hours of your treatment.
Avoid washing your face with hot water within 24 hours of your treatment.
Wear a minimum SPF30 daily after your treatment.
Avoid exfoliating for 7 days after your treatment.
Discontinue any use of Vitamin A, Retinol and Retinoid home care for 7 days after your treatment.
